Hello Austin Digger readers! We finally got a chance to have Michelle and Hal out to one of our digs! We had a great time with them and really appreciate their support.
Hal was a Hoot! and for sure he proved that persistence pays off when screen digging. We had some tractor problems and I managed to get the last bucket of dirt on jusst to the edge of his screen when the the tractor played out. Hal "jumped" up on the screen (I'm ten years younger than him and it would take five diggers to get me on top of a screen :), he started raking out the dirt onto the screen and just about when it looked like a dry load... BOOM! out came his pretty Langry Arenosa! Great find Hal!
We look forward to another "Dig Adventure" with you guys soon!
I will have all the photos from the dig up by tomorrow (Tues) night. We returned the tractor to our rental people today and just crashed when we got home this afternoon!
