I saw Koby at C3 yesterday ..here's better pic



And here's the story;

Site 13 is being revamped.... Heaps of old throw dirt being pushed over the creek embankment....new trenches are being opened...

Koby was there to help Richard...walking between the bee tree and the creek he looked at a piece of flint and thought " GEE THAT LOOKS LIKE A CORNER TANG "

Richards side of the find is that the CT was INSITU ! NOT shaken loose.
The point had almost no dirt on it, that massive 500 pound bucket just delicately exposed it ...1/4 of an inch lower and the flint would have been demolished...
The imprint is still in the solid original soil...Koby put a rock over it...You can see it if you know which rock to look under.

Koby almost never "digs" but he does find....The CT now lives with his other finds from Fulton Hollow ( check that long blade )
