From the old Durham museum in Norman, Ok.
picture of both
Beautiful artifacts Mike!
Wow...Those look like treasures from an old kingdom Pharaoh's tomb...Alabaster & Nubian Granite !
There are always people that like to make modern reproductions of ancient items.....the original way....wonder how long it would take to shape & polish such items without power tools ?
Tks for the look M
Hal, stop by at Temple. Might still have 'em. Be on the back wall. Will have a lot of goodies to view.
I'll be there. Haven't seen you for so long how about wearing your muddy cave creeping clothes so I can recognise you
HAl,you still got me confused with that other mike. I'm the clean one....at least when I bathe.
I'm familiar with Norman, but not the Durham museum. How does a museum loan out such treasres?
Doesn't loan out. Museum closed when Durham died in '77. Bought from the heirs. Winged one now re-sold.krm3
