nice surface find

Found this point walking a creek in Eastland county.A nice find for as rocky of a country it is. Not sure of the type, sure somone can help me out? Anyone else hunt out in Eastland county? Site is ripe with waterways, meadows, and hills. Greatgrandfather x3 was chased and returned chase of indians all over that part of the country, but you just dont see alot of stuff found on the internet in the county. Thx

Re: nice surface find

Nice find! My father used to own a piece of property near Okra, TX, and we used to hunt the plowed peanut fields surrounding his property, but never found anything that nice.

Re: nice surface find

There could be others but it's easy to visualize that as a PEDERNALES ( 6000-2000 BP)
As Perds go that is a good size ( Bison slayer size ? )
If that particular find has special value to you, it's a logical candidate for restoration. See top R of front page " DR GOMERS ARTIFACT REPAIRS

Nice flint too
