Moving right along, now into one of the trackways....



I was really impressed

. . . . . .With how shallow the digging was !

I did a "test" about 20 feet away just going straight down under the recent diggings..
Found these ( plus one more tip after pic time )



My pick is exactly 36 inches long !
There is brown dirt with roots at the "bottom " Thats the road in the sun up top.



The base of a Darl blade had very nice workmanship



My test hole was only a foot wide at the bottom...not enough room to do deeper, the brown is just begging ( and waiting ) to be dug into.

Landscape crew is doing a great job going straight down now...





No reports of finds but rule # 8 applies : " the more dirt moved the better chance of good finds to justify so much labor "
