Bear point

I got this point at an auction fundraiser for JDRF. As the title says its a bear point from Alaska.

By Alaska bear standards that point is for small bears. Lol. Nice one. Looks like Basalt.

It's a greenish grey flint/chert. The picture doesn't capture it well

That may be the first Alaskan point I have actually seen outside the text books...Beauty.
Must have been very effective for such a long run...listed as 3000 to 200......thats not long before the civil war, the industrial revolution had already begun in some parts of the world .
