Wednesday at the Starr ranch( 10-22) was a great day to be outdoors...clear skies, temps in the 70's AND
a yellow flowering plant completely carpeted the ranch. The panorama view does not do it justice, its about 15 inches tall and very yellow, covers even the dam and right up to Craigs' front door.







Craig says it nothing but a useless weed,,,,deer & cattle wont eat it

these weather days are far and few. we better take advantage of them when we can

Its known as ******* cabbage. Brought here from Greece I believe. It is one of the most invasive plants we have in Texas. Can be very pretty in bloom, but it is smothering out native plants.
