Just got back from the pipeline and first thing I did was look at this book front to back! Great book and all
BUT... There are about 6 collections that make up 95% of this
Book. I personally believe that most of the best pieces lie in the hands of old family collections and personal collections from diggers like myself. I'm quite disappointed I must say. I have seen AMAZING pieces in local old timers collections in sw bell cnty that would crush alot of these pieces. I wish more effort was put forth to truely find the BESt artifacts of prehistoric tx...
