I was a beautiful day at Starr Lake Monday



I brought my tree trimming equipment today...
This tree is no longer standing..



The find of the day was not really stuck in the roots but next to a rock shelf that the roots were covering...







Second place find, a very nicely shaped Chopper / bone crusher



It did indeed break the bone ( but it sure took a lot more force than I had thought )



This very pretty butterfly might only have about 36 hours left....



Hard freeze due Tuesday

That's a couple of nice pieces of worked flint. What you calling a hard freeze? We started off today at 8 degrees and it's still short sleeve shirt weather here in Montana.

Ken, I am not envious of 8 degrees. stay warm

Hey Travis, it's like Tx weather, goes from one extreme to another. 8 in the morning to 50 in the afternoon. Next Sunday we're catching another batch, high is supposed to be around 10.

It's a butterfly killing cold this morn...as low as 30*
