These are some of the artifacts that one of my contractors has found on their farm north of Browning. He has around 200 points, clubs, and hammers.
The war club is made of basalt, the larger blade is made of greenstone. Hope next year to get out and find some of these myself. Too dang cold right now to hunt.
Looks like fine craftsmanship on the war club....hopefully the target subjects appreciated getting thumped with quality !

I think it's a preform or blade. I couldn't find anything in the books that was similar. Nearly all his finds were either late Archaic or pre-historic. I've seen some Archaic and Paleo points brought in by the coffee drinkers but never had the camera handy at the time.
