Side notched point



Found at same level with San Patrice pts.

hey rob good find we don't get many san patrices here in northeast tx.
i would call your side notched point a san patrice. not all the
san patrices look like the classic types. in your photoit looks
like the point is made of calcasieu chert.

Angus, in this particular camp I've found several points about 6" deep and have all been made out of petrified wood, if you go down 1 1/2' is where the San Patrice are, all made from chert or river cobbles. I am in the process of digging test holes to figure out the full extents of the camp.
