Re: FREDERICK LANCEOLATE, is this a true Texas Point?

I looked at that Ebay point. It looks like a resharpened Plainview although I cant tell if its ground. Not sure what the seller means by Lancolate as the base is concave.

Re: FREDERICK LANCEOLATE, is this a true Texas Point?

Pulled it up on the internet and the one that comes up listed is found in Southern Saskatchewan. No reference to anything south of there. Also listed as Jimmy Allen and Lusk. They are terminal Paleoindian in date.
Good to see you're still around Idaho, hadn't seen you on in a while.

Re: FREDERICK LANCEOLATE, is this a true Texas Point?

Hey Ken. Merry Christmas to you and Bettie! Need some dirt. Back in Idaho last week, snow on the ground. Surface hunting is the pits it's in snow....

Re: FREDERICK LANCEOLATE, is this a true Texas Point?

More snow predicted too. Hal doesn't like me sending him all this cold weather, cabin fever. I just never was a stingy person so I like to share. I have plenty of cold so figured I'd send him some.
Planning on another trip back to Tx in late spring, I'll let you know when, mabbe you'll have your camera working by then
