Some stores have declared that they will stay open 24 hours a day until 6 PM Christmas eve 
It's also the shortest day of the year...starting tomorrow, each day will have 1.2 minutes extra digging time...
it's just a pity the stores cant stay open til 8 PM..
I liked it better when Christmas was done out of a Sears catalog and finished by the middle of Dec. Good presents were baseballs and toy trains.
No long lines or middle of the night shopping. And Xmas didn't start till December. Not July. Those were the good old days.
