Christmas in Montana

Might be cold, might be snowing, but there's still a beauty to it that beats the views I used to look at Christmas in South Tx. Something about mesquite trees with no leaves and cactus just didn't fit right in with the Christmas spirit. Here's a pic I took recently in Glacier Natl. Park.

I'm heading out this morn to test the permafrost...will see if I can find a comparable winter in Tx pic to make you home sick.

Just found a hint of snow in this shady area of Texas. Texas evergreens can be seen behind the Bovine hills.
