Got bored and decided to share some pics of some good ol`Texas flint.....

It looks like some of those bad boys are just painted on the display!
I'm wondering if that isn't the top lid of a storage chest full of "sabinal" points
A few of those beauties must surely quality as the best example of their type..like the Edwards & Marshall.
Look at the different challenges it took to haft ( securely tie the point onto a wooden shaft ) the wide variety of base configurations. If I was a hunter in the old days, I would go with the humble Pedernales.
