Re: Flicker's Collection

Have you tried the outlet mall @ Round Rock? Swarovski has a gallery there. We stopped in a while back a picked out a couple of pieces. Flicker has several of the ornaments. Most are animal, bird, or flower pieces. The Eagle is a limited edition piece that we had to order. They may be able to order it from Round Rock.

Re: Flicker's Collection

Thats a beautiful piece.

I only know beauty, not the backround details so a 'stupid' question.

Are all those facets actually ground down from a cooled block of Crystal, then polished ??...

Re: Flicker's Collection

The different colors are different pieces but the base is just one piece. Swarovski is known is the US for the crystal pieces but overseas it's used in everything from highway signs to binoculars and telescopes. It was big during WW2 in military use, both sides. Been around for over a hundred years.
I buy Flicker the pieces, the more pieces I buy, the more dirt she moves. A bribe or a trade off?

Re: Flicker's Collection

The Eagle got moved to the curio cabinet. This one takes it's place Armani's Prairie Sunrise. Flicker is happy tonight.
