Why is he skipping the red carpet all the time now?

He didnt walk the red carpet at the Golden Globe or Oscar this year. It's kind of disapointing to see him only for 5 minutes up on the stage. He doesn't walk the red carpet he stays only for his presentation and then he leaves. he didn't even go the vanity fair party this year and he always does. Why?
