"The Dictator" has taken number one spot from "The Avengers"!

hi guys!

just thought you would like to know that "The Dictator" starring Sasha Baron Cohan was the most successful film at its opening weekend. mind you they all start off big and go away without a mention. (except any film starring robert of course!)

the top 10 at the australian box office this weekend were:

1. The Dictator $5.094 million (Paramount)
2. The Avengers $3.513 million (Walt Disney)
3. Dark Shadows $2.189 million (Roadshow)
4. The Five Year Engagement $748,656 (Universal)
5. The Woman in Black $375,587 (Roadshow)
6. The Best Exotic Marigold Hotel $281,879 (Fox)
7. Safe $253,250 (Icon)
8. Salmon Fishing In The Yemen $164,591 (Roadshow)
9. The Way $132,557 (Umbrella Entertainment)
10. Wish You Were Here $124,328 (EOne/Hopscotch)

Any way that is it. Thought you might want to know.
