That is a question that can have a lot of answers. Perhaps it's because they're self conscious about their own appearance, so they pick on others to draw attention away from themselves. They could be insecure, or uneducated (obestity is like a disease for some people). Or they could just be jerks with nothing better to do with their time. Being an semi overweight person for most of my life, I try to accept who I am. I ignore rude comments, and if people can't accept me for who I am on the inside, instead of the outside, then it's their loss. Just ignore and say one thing you like about yourself in the mirror everyday. Focus on the positive and the negative and for those people who find the need to focus on wait, tell them to get a life and stop focusing on yours.
