Re: Re: Re: Re: Re: David at Mohegan Sun

Hi Laura and gang...I saw David at the Mohegan Sun last year when he was there. The show was great the venue is nice and intimiate BUT... I do not like the way they set up the line bit. Some of those women in the front actually come the night before and sit in the front of the line. A bit nuts I think. You can still go to the stage during the show to get a up front and personal view and possibly a hand shake. We waited in line for about 4 hours and were almost out of the casino. I don't like the way the line snakes throughout the casino and that you could possibly be there for hours. If you bring a group of people you can take turns being in line but you must be back in line when they tell you (I forget why now, I think they take a count or give you something to get you in or something) anyway I think they should just start handing out numbers in the morning and tell everyone to get back in line 2 hours before the show. They would make a lot more money (it drove me crazy not to be able and gamble because I had to be in line all that time!) and it would be a lot less annoying to everyone (the gamblers that you are standing behind and the ones in the line!) So there is my 2 cents. The show is worth it and I am glad he keeps coming to see us in the Northeast even if it is a 4 hour drive!

Hi Terri

Thanks for the info on the Mohegan, oh dear, it all sounds a little crazy to me,

I agree, it would be so much easier to sell tickets for the show, the casino would make more money, and instead of standing in line all afternoon,(I will NOT be there all night, no way!!)you would be able to use the casinos other facilities, such as the shops and the gaming area, I for one can't resist a game of blackjack, or video poker, I'd much rather be doing that than standing in a queue, that is bound to annoy the casino users.

Thanks again
