If I have downloaded a background, where do I need to insert it in order to have it as a background for the main content section of a webpage?

I did upload the background to my webspace, I just can't figure out where to put the code to make my main content section show that background.(I am not a html wizard yet)

In the BODY tage put somewhere, usually right after BODY BACKGROUND="[FILENAME.FILETYP]" This rpelaces bgcolor=# or even if you put it in with BGCOLOR=# it will come up over it. Also goes there TEXT=# (sets text color) LINK=# (sets color of unfired link) ALINK=# (sets the color of an active link) and VLINK=# (sets the color of a l ink that the visitor has already used).
