How might I download my website files onto my new computer? I intermittently see a choice to download in the file manager and don't really understand why this is so? Could someone please explain how to download? I am just using the free service

First create a new folder on your PC to hold the files.

You will be downloading multiple files so use the Java Applet (this will take a minute to two to load)

Open the new folder in the left hand (your computer) section.

Highlight the files in the right hand (web server) section

The arrow between the two will now reverse to point from web to PC.

Finally click on the arrow to do the transfer

If you have a fire wall it may generate warning messages regarding the applet. These can just be ok'd

For one i really can't answer it but the file manager is a way to get your files back?

Try re-uploading them to http://www.ripway.com they give you 30mb of file storage.
