Ive installed a new counter today on my renewed home page , it says ive got 3 hits on the counter , when i look in the counterstats theres nothing there 0 hits, how come??

The counter image and the statistics page can get out of line. This normally corrects itself within 24 hours.

What if it's been more than 24 hours and it still hasn't worked?

If you're using ie hold control and click refresh at top left of browser. You could be reading your original look at the counter stat page in your cache. I've done it before and watched my stats change.

also if you're registered as a pro counter, be sure to click on manage counter, settings, and scroll down to ignore my hits and click the button then save at the bottom or you will read your own hits everytime you check your site. Also don't erase the bravenet cookies in temp files or it will revert back automatically.
