I am trying to put a java code/script on my page and I can't upload the .key file (which is needed for the thing to work).. anyone have any suggestions?

When you say can't upload, could you be more specific as to what you are trying now?

the upload feature on the webpage editor will not allow for .key files to be uploaded.

The Bravehost free service only permits a limited set of file types. If you want to use others you must upgrade to Pro.

Javascript doesn't use .key files. Either the file has the wrong suffix for the type of file that it is (in which case change it to the correct type and change the reference to it) or what you have is not Javascript. I have never come across a .key filetype so I have no idea why you would need one.
