Hello. A few months ago, I tried building a site at Bravenet and I remember seeing a feature that I could put on my site, that was called a Random MIDI Player. I would like to use that on my new site, but can't remember where that is. Can anyone help me?
I didn't notice it at the time but it should be fairly easy to do.
There are lots of random quote generators around in the various free JavaScript libraries on the web. Adapt one to provide random file names. A bit of fiddling with document.write statements and files are embedded or played on demand as required.
There use to be a "audio" catagory in their "Scripts Archive" under "Javascript / Dynamic HTML". If you do a google search on "Random MIDI Player" you can still find a link to Bravenet, but it takes you to an empty page. However, you may want to look at some of the other links in the google search, that describe a similar item.
