How can I get the IP address that a user used to log into my chat?

If anyone knows how to get the IP of someone who used my chat, please tell me so I can ban him.

There is no IP display option in the chat service.

And for a website there is. I think that it's with php, if somebody has the code for it, please I would really like to have it. I can use the password gate on one of my webpages and place the IP address so I'll now what time the person logged in.
