Just how long does it take saves to stick with the free service?
My page has been saved for half an hour now, and is showing its new self just fine in the visual editor, but it's not displaying on the page itself. My website is certainly not space-intensive, so I don't know what the deal is, but when can I expect the changes to be saved?

What you are seeing is the old version of your site stored on your computer.
Well, I don't know that, but if you knew about temporary internet files you would have to be [possibly offensive word omitted] not to tell us that you had eliminated that possiblity.
Look for an icon looking like a curved arrow (or two, depending on browser) in your browsers toolbar. Or press F5.
