Usually blackberry email is set up through a site from your sell provider. Sometimes there is an icon on the blackberry itself to access the site as well. Setting up the email is fairly easy after that, you need to know the email address and password.
If there is no email set up icon on your blackberry (check the set up folder) then contact your cell phone provider to find out the URL for the website to set it up. Usually called BIS or Blackberry Internet Services - you may even be able to google it.
