Why is so difficult to paste the password code on my page
I have the upgraded password protect feature, when I copied and pasted the codes onto the body of the webpage, all it showed was the codes and not the LOG IN, PASSWORD info. What is it so difficult, am I doing anything wrong? All I want is to have a password protected page and that is all, maybe an email address captured. I cannot understand why that code did not appear as a log in image on the site. Any advice anyone? I am sure it must be so easy but I can't figure it out. Thanks everyone for your input.

well not sure what editor you are using
BUt ALWAYS with a visual editor if you place html code on the page it will show as html code
So you need to place your editor in html format mode and then place the code for the password gate service where you want it then save and publish your page
