There are two people I am trying to block from my blog. I have gone to utilities and blocked their IP addresses, but I see they are still able to access using the same IP address that I blocked...what is with that?
IP blocking is usually a waste of time as very few people have dedicated IP addresses. Instead they just get allocated whatever is free when they connect and it is returned to the pool when they disconnect from the web.
There have been instances here of webmasters banning themselves when trying to block every IP address used by another customer of the same ISP.
