Editing Web Page

I just got my website its own domain. I go into the wizard to edit the website and don't see the changes.
I went to publish, and backed out. I was afraid I would lose the website information.

Any tips on editing?

Should I use the wizard? Or edit with word?

What are your thoughts?

Browser: Firefox

Re: Editing Web Page

DO NOT EDIT with WORD it is not a webpage editor

Wizard is for people who are beginners or don't want to take time to learn. Plus has limitations and more

If you want a professional site and designed a little more to your liking then get an editor you can load onto your computer and you can design on your own.

Plus the wizard if you edit their you publish and the changes should take affect.

IF you ventured out to the visual/text editor then went to the wizard to publish then you would have lost all your work you did in the other editor.

Too many people mix with the wizard and visual/text editors and not great

But if you want more freedom with the look and feel of your site then move away from the bravenet editors

Re: Editing Web Page

NVU is a good free editor but there are others around too.

Using a word processor or DTP tool to build a site will result in some poor quality html that is difficult to maintain.
