Trying to figure how password protect works. have set the code up and a page. Want to limit access to association newsletter. No problem on test user [me] set password and it works but, the link to the first page of the newsletter can be operated without inputting the login, anybody help - not sure how I lock the link with password
Password Protect is intended for people to use with hosting services that don't permit proper protection. All it does is provide a protected link. If you create an unprotected link as well then you just leave the back door open.
