I created 3 categories, then created 3 forums all under the first category. When I click on category 1, I go directly to forum 1. I can't see or use forums 2 and 3. Same problem in the forum on bravenet.com.
Is this just how it works?

When I visit your forum I see three forums. Probably the three you added to category 1.

In order to see category 2 and 3 you must first add forums to them.

A free account is allowed 3 of each.

Use the "Forum Parent" option to change the category a forum is placed in.
