hello. i was just wondering HOW do i make it so that people have to sign in (create usernames and passwords to post/respod) on my bravenet message board? i don't mean that the board itself has a password... it's public but in order to post you'd need to sign up and create your own password. hope that maed sense.. thanks for any help with this...

In short, use a different service provider.

Bravenet have targetted a partcular niche for message boards which is open access.

Browser: Firefox3.6.12

OS: XP

look at proboards
phpbb style message boards

you need those for what you want.

Where the person has to be logged in with a username/pw to see the board and or post.

Some you can't even see the board unless logged in.


Other boards you can see the posts etc but to be able to reply and things you have to have a username/pw


So do a google search of message forums and look for the type mentioned.
