at the end of July we're going to Thailand-Cambodia. We land in Bangkok, stay for 1 or 2 days and then leave to the island Koh Phangang.Then we want to cross th boarder to Cambodia. we want to visit Phnom Pehn, Siem Reap (temples of Angkor) and Battambang. Then we goto Koh Phngan to relax a bit and then back to Bangkok to fly home. We have a few questions, hope you can help us.
1. Can anyone recommend any good and cheap guesthouses at those places? We want to spend 5-10 US$ for a double.
2. Do you know good (=lots of vegy) restaurants in one of those cities?
3. What about the visa for Cambodia, where is the best place to get one?
4. What's the best (price/quality) transportation between them all? And what are the best routes (view, fastest,...)
5. Any more usefull tips are always welcome, feel free!
