i have stripped down and replaced all the seals and gaskets on a pair of bing carbs for a friend of mine.
I am now trying to ballace and re tune them but are having difficulty's
the bike will start and run but seems lumpy.
by the time i adjust the air screws to get the carbs ballance and runing even it is idle-ing too fast.
upon reving the engine the left gauge responds but the right one does very little.
I cannot find an air leak to justify this behaviour.
whats the best practise to set these up without the manual ? and does any one know what the setting the vacuum gauges to be used at.
