I have already posted, but it was extremely remiss of me, not to comment on your site, I find your subject extremely interesting and your finds even more interesting, I especially liked the in depth history of the WW11 Aircraft crashes, I have toyed with the idea of obtaining a "Metal Detector" as I have a lot of open countryside around me and with the advances in technology, it must be a very interesting hobby.

Great site, Would like to know about how the finds thing works with the th'ers and the goverment. In this country, if you find something and tell the goverment, they want it and that's it. They keep it. That's why no one tell if they find anything good. I have been TH-ing since 1963, Have a lot of finds from pre 1800, but don't want to loose them, so I don't say anything. How does the UK do it?

I have found a pipe recently that is marked H. Dewy Gloster, and is split in two! i understand there is a member of your club who is fascinated with old pipes and would like to be able to get in contact with him to send him pictures of the pipe and to see if he knows anything that i cant find out about this pipe.
