I can\'t even tell you what platoon I was with anymore. I was the one who recieved mortar wounds the morning of May 4, 1970 in Cambodia. I\'ve got a few pictures of guys I served with, but no names. I\'m terrible that way. My health has gone to ****, but I\'m still here. Anybody remembers me, kindly let me know. Thanks--- Bill |

In Jan. of 1969 I returned from my tour in the RVN, and met with my brother Larry in Oakland where he was waiting for his tour. I told him then" You do not want to go where I just left". Which was Dong Tam where the Copperheads provided air support for 9th Inf. Larry has been dead for 3 years now. It took that long for his tour to kill him. Larry had severe PTSD, but was in denial. Larry died in the hospital of unknown causes. He had called our mother from the Hospital and said he would be home the next day. |
