Packed house at Fredericksburg

It was crowded today at the artifact show, more so then any of the previous ones we've been to there. Did run into Pat,Hal and Nacho but missed seeing some of the other regulars like Mike and Denise there. I'm sure Hal's got some pic's when he makes it back.
Lots of new flint too.

Re: Packed house at Fredericksburg

Yeah!

Who was that guy there in the Austin Diggers button up? I wanted to help my friend sell his arrowhead. The one pictured on the sites front page! Tyler is young and didnt know how to go about selling it. I asked this guy if Michelle was there. "I wanted to introduce myself, meet her", I said. (I thought someone noteworthy like her would be of some help.)

The guy responded "her picture is all over the website, you can see her there", he grouched as he could shouldered me and walked away. What was THAT all about. Man. Nice 1st Impression!

Re: Packed house at Fredericksburg

I'm here, just waiting for Te to give the opening salvo

Make your brain put the next pic on the left side of the above pic....
Big crowd, ( of flint too )

Photobucket

Met up with Dr Leslie in his office ( the parking lot ! ) we were admiring a frame of African bird points this new owner was just taking to his car..

Photobucket

The flint show was just a gienormous birthday party for one dealer...

Photobucket

A Nacho frame of goodies,,,,Whats that stoopid little lump of flint in the bottom left

Photobucket

A beautifull KK...the size of a thumb

Photobucket

And here's our present front page honoree...Tyler with the new found big Perd ( Big Brisket sandwich for scale )

Photobucket

I skipped buying a repro point this show. Quartz and "crystal" have been of interest recently so I picked up a few cheapies.

Photobucket

End of this pictorial report... a really good show is now history

"What THAT was all about " was the tail end of the explanation that Mlle never makes it to any flint shows except the once a year at Temple. No way to meet up with her other than online, Sorry for whatever.

Well come this Tuesday you wont have to worry at all about the cedar dust .....Have you seen the weather forecast charts for your area ???...Powerfull enough to blow that dust up to the great lakes and THEY have to keep digging (snow)

Re: Packed house at Fredericksburg

Hey Travis, it's good to see that I'm not the only one that has to put up with that dreaded mountain cedar. Hard to screen dirt and blow your nose at the same time.

Re: Packed house at Fredericksburg

Eye exercise for Tehuacana & Flicker...

I KNOW you were present when I took the two panoramic pics of the show above.
Te you were wearing a very distinctive shirt, should be very easy to spot ...I been peelin my peepers since posting....

I found you ...( can you find you ? )

Re: Packed house at Fredericksburg

Yep, I think I found me. Easier to spot Flicker in the pic. then me. I could be wearing a florescent day glo shirt and pants and I'd be harder to spot then her blonde hair. We're in the first pic.
I got into a discussion on rarity of points with one of the vendors. She wandered off, not her forte.

Well this aint going to be much of an ID scrap...You ought to know you ...BUT...

I got you in the second pic ( left panorama ) big hint ..
that flourecent shirt is mininal...Flicker in Johnny Cash Black pretty prominent....
Confirm or deny, my last word on the matter next transmission

Re: Packed house at Fredericksburg

She spotted herself and me in the second pic in the back corner after I'd already posted. Her leather coat gives her away. She said after we left that this was the first time we went that we weren't in any of your pictures. Surprise-surprise. It was the needle in the haystack pic. this time. Dang that florescent shirt. Gonna go in full camo next time.
That brought up an interesting thought. When we were at the casino last year, there was a guy and his wife in full camo. It doesn't work too well in a casino. We could still see them. Then another woman had camo tennis balls on her walker. They didn't blend in with the carpet very well.

Re: Packed house at Fredericksburg

AwhRight, were close to agreement ( you oughtta know who you are )

Using the ceiling fan closest to the camera in pic #2 the centerline drops straight down to the lady dealer with the Long Black hair and white shirt.....To HER left, (in the customers' aisle),,,, I thought thats "Johnny Cash Flicker" and that bright blue shirt just barely visible....

We cant go through this again...next show I'll ask you two to stand on somebodys' shoulders

Re: Packed house at Fredericksburg

I was looking for your spud suit or pirates hat this time. Nearly didn't recognize you. We're a little easier to pick out in a crowd. Good thing this show isn't around Halloween, no telling what I'd be wearing......
