I thought I would give all of those who missed the Temple Show a little taste of what was missed. This my first Temple Show and it was absolutely amazing! Try not to drool on your keyboards.
I hope these inspire everyone to dig a little harder! I know it did for me, that's why I even got a little digging in after the show. Got to take a little trip with Bell County Digger to a private site. I didn't do too bad for my first time there. 3 nice paleo pieces and a lot of brokes. Everything is paleo or transitional.
From left to right: Golondrina, Angostura, worked down planiview blade. This is what we have guessed the types are, but not a 100% sure. Any input or ideas is welcome.
Thanks for sharing. I last attended in 1998, and it's grown tremendously since i last attended. I recognized Bill German's awesome bird point collection. I've had the pleasure of meeting Bill, but i've never seen any of his collection in person.
Beautiful memories..
As rg indicates, some of those very finest frames were put together many yrs ago...to start such a collection today would require every penny of the ' stimulous ' bailout $$
Tough break having to dig a strictly Paleo camp,,
Old is beautiful
