I often visit this site and enjoy seeing what others are finding, but have never posted. Below are some of my favorite finds for others to enjoy from the last 15 years or so of digging in Central and SW Texas. We also recently purchased a property near Camp Wood with some mounds and digging has been pretty good there too so if you like these old finds, I'll post some of the new finds.
Good show Anon, thats an interesting collection. The hafted scarper alone is cool, Thats real purpose made rather than modifying a projectile point....
WHAT....?....CAMP WOOD...
MORE midden camps right in the heart of other known camps.!..that Nueces Valley must have been the Los Angeles of SW TX...Your going to be a busy digger..
AND ( as everybody knows ) the size and QUALITY of the
artifacts along that drainage is outstanding.
