HELLO, I WAS HOPING TO GET SOME ADVISE FROM SOMEONE ABOUT A GOOD DIG SIGHT. I AM WANTING TO PURCHASE A DAY OR WEEKEND FOR MY HUSBAND FOR CHRISTMAS. HE LOVES TO DIG, JUST DOESN'T GET TO GO LIKE HE USED TO. NOT SURE WHERE A HOT SPOT WOULD BE. IF YOU HAVE A SPOT AND WOULDN'T MIND SHAREING FOR A WEEKEND OR IF YOU KNOW SOMEWHERE WHERE IT WOULD BE A GREAT CHRISTMAS, I WOULD REALY APRESHIATE YOUR ADVISE. HAPPY DIGGING TO ALL.... :)!!

If you look on the front page there is a listing of all the different digs going on. You might want to look them over.

em, Choice is all yours from the listings Sandy has noted..." hot spots" can be gone in a day so it's never a sure thing....just roll the dice ( or do like the most successful stock market investors...write the names of all the dig sites listed, tape it on the garage wall...then take one of your kids' darts, turn away from the list and throw the dart over your shoulder....

Here's some thoughts...
Cheapest around is Chrisners $20. / 6 hours. if you have any outdoor interest, buy yourself a ticket too, pack a picnic and make a day of it ( you can bird watch & surface hunt while hubby plays in the dirt.)

IF your so rich as to afford a $125. gift with a high probability of going home with an artifact...Next screen dig at Chrisners is Saturday, January 5th. Go to page 2 of these messages, top 2 postings refer to this screen dig.

NO dig places offer proper frilly gift certificates...Make your choice call for reservations if needed then make your own certificate to put under the tree.

Since your posting on this website, you must see the most recent dig reports, that might sway your opinion.

Last hint...if this is going to be a big surprise til Christmas morn...better keep hubby from seeing this mssg bd

Lol. I am the one who won the metal detector at the last dig fest. I haven't found anything they last few times I had been there so was thnking of trying a new site. Since a new honey hole has been found, gonna take yalls advice and try again. :-)

We were looking for you e, it was a beautiful day in the wilderness....BUT...the findings were dead slow ! Richard is now going to
suspend the screening until a later date when the best area can be defined..

Meantime, the hand digging in Fulton Hollow looks like the WWl trenches all over again. Might be of some inexpensive investigation...

We decided to go the weekend before screen dig. We didn't find much broke 2...:-( Had unexpected bills so we were unable to go to screen dig. We will be takeing your advice and try out the sight. Let you know how it goes. Gonna try to post a pic of what we found, but not sure if can post from a cell phone.:-)
