There was so much recently moved dirt, Badger could not resist surfacing before slugging away at digging.
A very nice Clear Fork
High intensity
Pays off
Now digging, Badger walks over to show a find.
The fragile well made tip was intact, made from a broken base dart point ?
Keegan did well with a piece of sandstone matate
Then he found a point very close to the Matate that may give a clue whose Matate it might have been
Jessie left at mid afternoon with this nice collection. Of passing interest...this is his ENTIRE finds. . . . all complete, not a single tip, base, or midsection in that whole area
Hard to tell right now but probably as large as the area that was being worked since last September..
The road is gone ! ( road rage again) Richard has removed about 2 feet of the top soil so at least 150' X 20' 0f productive area is available...A certain Flint professor whos' name begins with 'Jessie' thinks a more major camp is located farther uphill.
Very logical as it is more at the intersection of the small drainage with the main creek and it will have had far less flood washout from the big creek.
More trenching for better access was mentioned.
