Hello,

I was just wondering if you accept new pantomime scripts, not based on the traditional fairy tales (ie Cinderella)? My colleague and I have written a couple of childrens' shows which have been performed by different local amatuer theatre societies. Our most recent project is 'The Enchanted Forest'. Our shows come with both backing cds and piano parts for rehearsals.

Hi folks,

Having just re-read this post I apologise for the length of it but I don't think I'll shorten it any.

I have just returned from watching your first night and I have to say I was very impressed with the whole show. The costumes were a total credit to your wardrobe dept. and were magnificently lit by your lighting team to give the whole production a really colourful show. I felt the music and sound effects were very well carried out by Lee & Paul, well done. The script was excellently written, with very good substance and with very good "local interest".
I was very impressed with your cast throughout. You certainly have a very good group and one of which I am justly envious. To have so many men in a drama group is indeed very good, and so many good men is even better. I was very impressed with the standard of acting singing and dancing skills shown by one and all, especially Aladdins "and the fools can come too" - priceless.

I congratulate you all on a very good production which buzzed along with great pace and warmth. The audience were never left to feel like they were just sitting out front watching a show, as on so many occasions we were brought right into the whole proceedings and I like to think that I speak for everyone when I say we enjoyed every second of it. I certainly look forward to returning to see your next show and will hopefully manage to bring a much bigger group to come and support you as well.

I wish you continued success over the next three performances, not that you need it.

'Hello!' from a fellow pantomime enthusiast! I belong to a community theatre company in North Hykeham, Lincolnshire and we do a panto. every January. If anyone is looking for a fun panto. script, I strongly recommend Peta Duncombe - www.pypscripts.co.uk. Peta has written several pantomimes for BBC Radio Lincolnshire and we commissioned her to write one for us when we moved to our new theatre in 2003 - Dracula the Panto,which sold out! Since then, we've done her scripts of: Puss in Boots, Cinderella and The Snow Queen. All great fun and excellent family entertainment!

Watched Cinderella last night and enjoyed it ever so much. True, there were some mistakes but they added to the fun so don’t worry about them!

The mini panto afterwards was also great fun or should I say ‘alright’?

Thanks for all the hard work and weeks or rehearsing to the stars and also to the band for playing afterwards not forgetting the impromptu performances too.

To answer the question, yes I am.

It was well worth the trip over to see you, what a great bunch of people.
