Christine, I’m sure many years ago, we both never thought we would see this many holiday seasons come around since losing our Angels. We both never thought we could possibly survive this long! But somehow we have and speaking for myself, I know that you are part of that reason that I am still here. We “met” online not too far into our “journey” and I’d like to believe that it was through the wisdom of our Angels that brought us into each others lives. So, I want to start by thanking you for helping me through yet another year, Christine. I cannot wait until my time comes, not only to see our son Corey and daughter in-law Michelle again and all the other family & friends who have gone ahead, but I look forward to meeting your beautiful Deborah! I know she is going to be filled with such awe and pride in all that you have learned and accomplished since she gained her Angel Wings. Not only about you becoming a wonderful grandmum to her precious niece Isla and handsome nephews, Kai, Ruairidh and Harris but for all you have learned to be able to create such a gorgeous memorial website in her honor and memory! Each new page somehow becomes even more beautiful than the last! Each new page I think there is no way you could possibly make anything more beautiful, yet the next page you manage to do just that! This Christmas page is so breathtaking Christine, everything about it from the color to the poems, music, stunning graphics, beautiful pictures but most of all, your words to Deborah. They always capture your love despite the heartache and longing to see her again. Each writing you do for Deborah lets myself and others get to know her more. I know it has already been Christmas there in Scotland for a few hours now, but it just turned midnight here a minute ago. So you are the first person I am officially wishing a very Merry Christmas to….even though I am sure you are fast asleep, lol! I hope you are getting plenty of rest my friend because with 4 grandchildren to be opening gifts, you are going to have a very busy day! Busy but filled with love, laughter, lots of good food and most of all, plenty of cuddles and kisses for you from those beautiful grandchildren. You are so very blessed to have such a beautiful family, Christine, who love you and help you get through each difficult day. I know that hole in your heart will always be there and no one but Deborah could ever fill it again, but I know that those precious grandchildren and all their hugs and kisses, helps to soften a little bit of that pain and heartache! Even though tomorrow will be a full day, I know your heart will be aching for Deborah to be there. How I wish with all my heart for one day a year, God would grant that wish! But for now, we have to trust in our faith that although we cannot see our beloved Angels, they are there with us. I hope with all my heart, my dear friend, that you receive a wonderful sign from your beautiful girl. Sometimes it’s not as plain as day as a feather or butterfly, but through a memory or something someone else says or does, that stirs a feeling inside you of Deborah. I believe she is with you!! Merry Christmas, Christine!! Wishing you and your beautiful family a very special and happy day!!! Love, Donna-Corey\'s Mom |

Dear Deborah, Happy birthday sweet girl. What a beautiful page for a beautiful girl. It is hard to believe how much time has passed. I know your mom misses you so much and she expresses her pain so thoughtfully in her writings. I am so sorry for my belated wishes. Life here just always brings so many problems. Please give Luke a hug for me. I know he was at your celebration. Take care sweetie and we will see you both soon. Love, Christine, Luke’s Mom May the force be with you. |
