Thinking of you and your entire family today as you face the most painful day of all; the day that your beautiful Deborah was taken from this life to eternal life in Heaven. One would think that each year as this horrific date comes around, that it would be less painful and that we would be so used to it by now, that we would barely give the date a thought.

People who think that way do not have single clue and obviously have never lost a child; the worst loss of all! Where they think we should have gone on with our lives like nothing ever happened; we find it somehow miraculous that we are still breathing and our hearts are still beating through all these years of heartache!

No amount of time, no amount of tears, no amount of pleading for our child to come back will ever change things. This is our lives now but we would have gladly given ours if only our children could have lived theirs!

I know this is your sweet Angel Deborah’s 22nd Anniversary of receiving her Angel wings and you are having an even more difficult time than ever with not feeling well physically as well as emotionally. I am so very sorry for all the pain you are in and are going through, Christine. I wish so much that your precious girl was there with you and that none of this relentless heartbreak had ever happened.

Please know that I am thinking of you and sending my love and many hugs across the miles. Keeping you, your family and of course your stunning Deborah in heart and in my prayers.

I will light a candle in the morning and keep it glowing all day and evening in loving memory of your beautiful daughter, Angel Deborah. I am here for you always, my very dear friend.

Another Christmas and we are both still here! I know you wonder, as do I, how we possibly could have survived all these years without our children. I know you miss your sweet Angel Deborah with every fiber of your being!

It shows in every new page and every new gift you create for her. This newest page for Christmas is another beautiful tribute to the love you hold in your heart for your precious girl. I don’t know how you do it, but I know you do it to honor your beautiful daughter Deborah.

I believe that when the time comes for us to be reunited again, every single moment is going to feel like an eternal Christmas! No more sadness, no more emptiness in our hearts, no more pain and heartache, no more tears….. we will have endless smiles, laugh again, hug again and never let our children go again!

I hope that you have a gentler Christmas day; one filled with more smiles than tears, more laughter than sadness and may the day be filled with lots of cuddles and kisses from your amazing grandchildren and your loving sons and their wives.
