Found this site by accident while looking for evidence of the promise the council made to provide us with a park when they sold off the one we had. SLH have a 5 year green space plan and I have been communicating with them to find out if we are eventually going to get the park they promised us 30 years ago. Love your pictures, Love Speke.

I was born in 7 Dungeon Lane 1952

The memories I have sitting on shire horse helping my dad at Turners nursery. We played tennis across dungeon lane it was a childhood full of lovey times having to go to the toilet at the bottom of the garden not so good in the dark,I could tell so much I could go on for ever.

Born in Speke conleach flats then pately walk due to sad circumstances left for the dingle

Born on Speke in 1946. I couldn’t think of a better place to grow up in the 50s and 60s. Speke Hall, Oglet shore. Brilliant!
I was married in All Saints to Denise Rimmer in 1968 and we are still together now in Canada since 1978.
