Lovely collection of photographs - sad to see the transformation from farms to town (just like Grays and Milton Keynes). Great photos of the prefabs - I lived in one where I grew up 1950-1965. I now have family around/in Liverpool - researching family history - researching takes you all over the place. |

Hi, I grew up on East millward and dam wood road with my blind grandparents, we used to go to St. Christopher\'s church and knew father montey really well, my dadis called Brian Jones and my grandparent were Margaret and Tommy Jones, drank in the peg and the legion, I\'d love to get in touch with anyone who knew the family, I moved to Glasgow and I miss the smell of the airport and my best memories were watching the planes out the bedroom window and shopping at kwiksave n chandler\'s in the parade. If anyone can help bring memories back I\'d be greatful x |

Hello - I am trying to track down the family grave of Isaac Birchall born 1809 in Speke. He lived most of his life in Oglet Lane and died in Liverpool 12 July 1893. Do you have a list of burials in Speke? Thanks |

Left Speke in 1960. Now live in Australia. Nostalgia has hooked me! Was the Dam Wood originally known as Oglet Wood? I thought the farm at the southern end of the Dunlop/Rootes factory was called Critchley\'s Farm? |

Thoroughly enjoyed looking at all the photos. Brilliant collection. Used to live in Bramley Walk. Would love to see a photo of the old cottage on Hale Road but unable to find one anywhere. Very fond memories of my childhood growing up in that area. |
